mainly music has been operating for six years in Hastings and three years in Crib Point.
It started in these areas to encourage parents and their preschoolers to participate together with music as the catalyst.
Children learn through their involvement in musical activities ~ motor skills are enhanced, communication skills are improved, and social skills are developed.
There is no joining fee ~ mainly music asks parents to donate $2 per family each session they attend. Mothers and fathers and caregivers who would enjoy some time with their preschooler children are very welcome to attend.
mainly music is on every Thursday morning at 10.00 am at Hastings Uniting Church Hall, on the corner of Hodgins Road and Marine Parade, Hastings. Melways 154 J9.
mainly music is on every Tuesday morning at 9.30am at Crib Point Community House, 7 Park Road, Crib Point. Melways 195 A2.
Both sessions coincide with the primary school year.
