The Town in Pictures

The township of Hastings has undergone a transformation in recent years. No longer the sleepy fishing village, it is now a modern vibrant miniature city.

The recent development boom has seen a number of new enterprises, including Safeway and the now finished K-Mart.

The local Council are jazzing up the town with stylish new bins and water fountains.

The public library was built some years ago to replace the old building. Inside, you will find a wealth of books, magazines, internet access and photocopying facilities.

The Hastings hall has been renovated, and is the home of Pelican Theatre Company Inc. Many original productions have been performed since the Company was formed nearly four years ago. Click on the image for more pictures...
